Potential Energy "The Flash Season 2 Episode 10"

Although the show is on a long hiatus, The CW has released a promo for its fall premiere episode, where Barry will decide to reveal his Flash secret to his girlfriend Patty, but Zoom will get to her before him. Harry tells Barry: "If Zoom finds out who you care for, who you love, he will take them away from you." The video ends with Patty tied to a chair by Zoom as Flash tries to help her.

Speculations and Facts:.

In the season 2 winter finale "episode 9" to be precise, Barry successfully took down Mark Hamill's Trickster and the Weather Wizard and saved Central City. The Flash season 2 mid season premiere will focus more on Zoom and Earth 2. The season will also feature both Dr. Caitlin Snow's alter ego, Killer Frost, and Reverse-flash in the coming Episode TFs02e11.

Wally West has been introduced and The CW hit TV series released promo is showing that Wally West will become the newest member of Team Flash. Other than that, fans are still figuring out the true identity of Zoom.

Just like what Zoom did with Jay Garrick, the black-masked villain is determined to steal Barry's speed, However, Harrison Wells, whose daughter has been kidnapped by Zoom, makes a deal with the Speed Demon. In return for his daughter Jesse, Harry agrees to make Barry run faster and stronger, as Zoom can steal all his speed. In Harry's words: "You [Zoom] are fattening him [Barry] up like a Christmas goose!"
From the way I see it, the villain is getting help from Dr. Harrison Wells of Earth 2 after he blackmailed him.

This parallel world, known as Earth 2, has not yet been featured so much in the show, just some flashbacks of Jay Garrick and Dr. Harrison Wells [earth 2 citizens].

In the teaser video, Jay's voice will be heard saying "up is down, black is white. Do not get distracted by anything you see along the way." This must be some sort of a warning to the team. In Earth 2, everything was opposite which leads to a speculation that maybe part or all of #TeamFlash is going to "another" Earth.

Meanwhile, a glimpse of Dr. Caitlin's alter ego Killer Frost can be seen in the promo "Everything will Change" and in the trailer, Killer Frost was heard saying that being bad is much more fun. It will be interesting to know which side of Dr. Snow will be shown on which world. Would it be in Earth-1 or Earth-2? We are yet to find out.

Another highlight from the promo trailer is Reverse-Flash or Eobard Thawne (Matt Letscher) in the flesh is coming back. Looks like this time he's not hijacking anyone's body so The character may be different this time around after being killed in the "The Flash" of season 1.
The return of our reverse speedster's appearance will be during The Flash season 2 episode 11 entitled "The Reverse-Flash Returns."

"The Flash" season 2 episode 10 entitled "Potential Energy" will air on Jan. 19 on The CW after its winter hiatus.
